CMTL Announces Advanced Tested Memory Compatibility Program for Industrial Platform Manufacturers
Program is launched with Arbor Solutions, Kontron and Portwell
October 7, 2013: Anaheim, California: CMTL, (www.cmtlabs.com), Computer Memory Test Labs, the industry’s leading independent memory compatibility testing lab announced today, the “Industrial Manufacturer Advanced Tested Memory Compatibility” program has been officially launched.
CMTL's President, John Deters stated “The new program represents a tremendous opportunity for CMTL and industrial platform manufacturers. Manufacturers such as Arbor Solutions, Kontron and Portwell recognize the value of having independently tested memory modules on their commercial line of platforms. With the program implementation, industrial platform manufacturer customers will finally have a resource that identifies fully compatible, reliable and problem free memory modules. As the program matures, our goal will be to expand into the industrial grade wide temperature platforms and memory modules”
CMTL was formed in 1996, as a third party independent test lab with the goal of creating an industry wide standard for memory compatibility testing. After over 15 years and 20,0000 compatibility tests performed, CMTL’s advanced tested compatibility program is well established and recognized in the market. Memory modules successfully advanced tested by CMTL are added to each specific platform tested memory list on CMTL’s website and receive the Advanced Tested Memory seal. Modules not advanced tested may have a higher risk of experiencing sporadic errors, unstable functionality, performance issues and system crashes.
