SAN CLEMENTE, CA — January 29, 2001 — Legacy Electronics announces the availability of their new 1.16" height SDRAM DIMM, a CMTL-registered, 256-megabyte, PC133 SDRAM Dual In-Line Memory Module for local-area and wide-area network server applications. In addition to LAN and WAN server applications, the 1.16" SDRAM DIMM meets other space-limited design applications, including those requiring a 1U chassis fit.
The Legacy 1.16" DIMM is certified by Computer Memory Test Labs*, which means the unit has passed an exacting battery of tests and meets stringent standards for reliability. In regards to this unit, it also means that Legacy Electronics has maintained the highest manufacturing procedures.
The 1.16" SDRAM DIMM board can also be modified for 512-megabyte requirements.
The Legacy Electronics 1.16" DIMM incorporates the company's recently introduced, patent-pending Canopy® technology, a 3-dimensional printed circuit board subassembly and process technology which increases memory capacity without stacking, and reduces memory module manufacturing cost and reliability issues, including thermal failures.
The 1.16" SDRAM DIMM is available with a 1-2 week lead time, with price discounts for volume quantities. For more information on this new product or on Canopy® Technology, go to www.legacyelectronics.com.
